OUR IMPACT...

Restoring Furniture. Reducing Waste. Making a real difference.

10+

years of furniture restoration

400

tonnes of waste diverted from landfill

WHY IT MATTERS...

Every year, millions of sofas are sent to landfill — not because they’re beyond repair, but because replacement feels easier.

Sofas are bulky, difficult to recycle, and often made from mixed materials that end up buried or incinerated. Once disposed of, their environmental cost doesn’t end — it increases.

We believe there’s a better way.

OUR APPROACH: Restore, don't replace.

Instead of encouraging replacement, we focus on in-home sofa restoration that:

    •    Extends the life of existing furniture
   •    Reduces landfill waste
   •    Avoids unnecessary manufacturing
   •    Saves customers money and resources

Every sofa we restore is one less item sent to landfill — and one less new sofa needing to be produced, shipped, and disposed of later.

Measurable Environmental Impact

Over the past decade:

    •    8,000 sofas restored
   •    Average sofa weight: ~50 kg
   •    Total waste avoided: ≈ 400 tonnes

This figure is based on conservative industry weight estimates and reflects furniture that would likely have been discarded without restoration.

Our work directly supports circular-economy principles by keeping materials in use for as long as possible.

By restoring rather than replacing:
   •    Raw material extraction is reduced
   •    Manufacturing emissions are avoided
   •    Transport and disposal impacts are minimised

Restoration isn’t just a service — it’s a sustainability solution.

Real Impact, One Sofa at a Time

Each restored sofa represents:

• Less landfill waste •

• Less carbon-intensive manufacturing •

• A more responsible way to care for what we already own •

Multiply that by 8,000, and the impact becomes significant.

Thinking of replacing your sofa?

Restore it instead!
